Intro to 3D Modeling

In this three hour class we'll be diving into one of my favorite programs to teach, Microsoft Paint 3D.  We will also be discussing (but not using in this class) other free and very popular 3D modeling programs.  We will also be discussing the use of 3D modeling for 3D Printing.  Please note, we will not be 3D printing in this class but we will in future classes.  If you have yet to journey into the world of 3D, this is a perfect class to begin with.  If you are familiar and have used Paint 3D, TinkerCad, or another program but it's been awhile, this is a perfect class to gain back that inspiration for creating in a virtual world.  If you have used this extensively and seek out a fun environment to continue creating and learning, this will be a fun class for you, as well.  We will be using Halloween as our theme.  In camps past, we have created amazing and spooky 3D worlds during the month of October.  It's a very fun theme that kids love working with.  After our three hours together every student will feel confident creating and navigating in a 3D world and will look forward to continuing their journey long after class is over.  This camp will be limited to 12 students however we will need a minimum of 6 students to be able to host the camp.  This camp is strongly recommended for 3rd grade and older students.
