About the event
Let's use one of the most intuitive and educational 3D Modeling programs there is, Tinkercad, to create and save our designs best suited for 3D Printing. We'll discuss best practices when designing our models to achieve the most optimal 3D print. We'll discuss the slicing software....that's what happens after you have your model saved and exported for the preperation of 3D printing. This class is designed to give the beginning modeler a head start on pursuing more advanced models and prints. We won't have time to print any models in this class but we will have time to finalize our creations and save them for sending to a local library, makerspace, or online resource for printing. We will also discuss best practices for painting models after they're printed.
STEM concepts for this class include 3D Modeling, Design, Creativity, Computers, and Technology.
Age recomendation is 3rd grade and up. All classes…
