About the event
This event is in room 209 at Colonial Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, KS. Each student will have their own laptop computer to use. We will design our own small element and print them on-site that evening. The workshop will be taught by Tom Newell from Oni Technology. https://www.onitechnology.com/ Tom is the owner of his own 3d Printing company and teaches many classes and workshops all around KC. Tom has worked at our camps before and is excited to come back and teach kids how to design using TinkerCad. All students attending camp will need to sign up for an account on https://www.tinkercad.com/ before our event. The workshop will run for approximately 2.5 hours then we'll spend the final 90 minutes eating pizza, working on additional designs, and just discussing STEM. Parents, this is a great opportunity to do some shopping or catch a movie.
