Intro to Blender 3D Modeling
OK, it's time to get serious. This class is for any student that has used Tinkercad, Paint 3D, Fusion 360 and wants to jump into the amazing world of Blender and take their models to the next level. Blender is an advanced open source 3D modeler, editor, animator, etc....6th grade and up.

About The Event
Let's jump into Blender and see what we can learn in 3 hours. This class will be an awesome intro into learning Blender and inspire all students to continue the journey on their own. Blender is a 100% free and open source software that can do so many things in the digital world including video editing, 3D modeling, animating, visual effects, story art, sculpting, simulations, and more. It's a very advanced software but we'll just begin by learning the basics of 3D modeling and the controls around that feature. While it's an amazing piece of software, it can be overwhelming if you don't understand the basics of the program. Let's learn the correct way and start at the beginning by creating some simple, low poly models together.
STEM concepts for this class include 3D Modeling, Design, Creativity, Computers, and Technology.
Age recomendation is 6th grade and up. This class will require a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 10 students.
PARENT VOLUNTEER All classes this week have the option of hosting a parent volunteer. One parent per class will be allowed on a first come basis and their student may attend at no cost. Having a parent volunteer is critical to the success of these classes so I encourage you to attend and have fun with all the students and learn along with them. No experience with the content is necessary. Please contact me if interested. Thank you. Dustin McEntarfer
