Media Mania - Light Painting

Light Painting is such a cool technique using the open shutter of a camera to capture streams of light.  You can draw, design, manipulate the light to create amazing images.  We'll learn the techniques and science of long exposure photography and also how you can capture images of the night sky and stars.  Please bring your own phone or DSLR camera.  We'll discuss the best settings to achieve the desired effect.  We'll upload all the images to a google drive folder to share with our families.  

STEM concepts for this class include Photography, Creativity, Math, Computers, and Technology.

Age recomendation is 4th grade and up.  This class will require a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 14 students. 

PARENT VOLUNTEER All classes this week have the option of hosting a parent volunteer.  One parent per class will be allowed on a first come basis and their student may attend at no cost.  Having a parent volunteer is critical to the success of these classes so I encourage you to attend and have fun with all the students and learn along with them.  No experience with the content is necessary.  Please contact me if interested.  Thank you.  Dustin McEntarfer
