Engineering 2

Let's focus week 2 on Chemical Engineering

Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that uses principles of chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, and economics to efficiently use, produce, design, transport and transform energy and materials. (definition was stolen from the internet)

EXERCISE #1- Have your student research some jobs that chemical engineers can do.

EXERCISE #2 - At home science experiments with Mrs. Lauren and Family

As I mentioned before I will be outsourcing most of my engineering information to really qualified and awesome people. Mrs. Lauren has been a part of Short Circuit Robotics since the beginning helping with camps and bringing chemical engineering to thousands of kids with her work at Mad Science. Today, she explains a classic chemistry experiment for us to try at home. My kids and I will certainly be trying this experiment this week.
